Formula 1 is about to witness one of its most ambitious partnerships yet.
Starting from 2027, Alpine will race under the name Gucci Racing Alpine Formula One Team, marking a historic collaboration between one of the world's most iconic luxury fashion houses and one of motorsport's most competitive arenas.
Flavio Briatore, Alpine's Executive Advisor and the man behind some of Formula 1's most successful commercial deals, described the partnership as one of the biggest achievements of his F1 career. According to Briatore, bringing together multiple stakeholders to make the deal happen was no easy task, but he believes the result will be "perfect" for Alpine and beneficial for Formula 1 as a whole.
More than just a sponsorship, Gucci plans to create an entirely new platform around performance, precision, discipline, and excellence bridging the worlds of luxury, lifestyle, and motorsport.
As Formula 1 continues to attract global brands and younger audiences, the Gucci-Alpine partnership could redefine how luxury brands engage with the sport.
Is this the future of Formula 1 marketing, or should racing remain separate from luxury fashion? Let us know your thoughts.
